A Snapshot of Your Day In your role as Senior technical expert for the domain of digital engineering of electrolyzers you develop and steer future proof digital engineering methods up to data based digital twin of electrolyzers systems, for both PEM and Alkaline technology. This bases on your vast experience in transforming document driven engineering to data driven engineering. As part of an expert community, you also guide people on how arrange the total process flow in electrolysis systems in a very competitive way. Your outstanding domain expertise in digital ways of working including the application of BIM helps in having engineering workflow established for both, SES product development and the SES system projects. You master the digital interface with internal partner and externals in a common data environment and in furtherance you advise the development and project teams accordingly. How You’ll Make an Impact • Be the go-to person when it comes to digital engineering workflow, related data requirements at the required time and its flow into the digital twin • Embedded in an expert community, apply the digital engineering into our multi location operations • Deep understanding of data generation, its processing in workflows and its packaging to a desired output drives your activities in defining and operating engineering workflows • Generate impulses for digital trends and innovative ideas for future electrolysis plants via external network • Guide non-experts, development teams and projects as subject matter expert What You Bring • Master’s degree or PhD in engineering or data science, with strong focus on consistent and comprehensive data • Minimum 10 years of experience as digital expert in data driven engineering in electrolyzer or chemical business • Proof-pointed experience in digital transformation is essential for this position • Be familiar with alle the concepts around data driven engineering approaches such as BIM, Digital Twin, Ontologies, ETL pipelines, cloud infrastructure, data lake as well as relevant engineering tool environments, e.g. Teamcenter/NX and Comos About the Team Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector.
